Previously, Director, Product Development, Intuit, Inc.
hired as a Senior Manager, promoted to Director after 9 months. Accomplishments at Intuit included leading the effort to enhance the QuickBooks product to enable 4 million small businesses to bring their data to the web to provide access to their employees, customers and partners through Web and Mobile--based SaaS offerings.
Prior to Inuit, spent three years giving back to the community as an elementary and middle school teacher in California’s school system.
Before this, served at BroadVision as Vice President of Engineering after joining as Senior Manager (NASDAQ: BVSN, the fastest growing software company on Nasdaq at the time) building the eCommerce platform used to power American Airlines online reservations, CircuitCity.com, HomeDepot.com, Sears.com, Shopping.HP.com and FranceTelecom.com among others.
Prior to that, five years at Cooperative Solutions having joined as a Senior Engineer, building client-server transaction processing solutions; promoted to manager and then Director of Product Development and Planning responsible for the Ellipse Business Unit as the company was acquired by Bachman Information Systems.
After completing a triple major in physics, math and computer science at the University of Virginia, Chris spent seven years in Europe working for Softlab GmbH, the second fastest growing independent software company in Germany (behind SAP) where he held positions (starting at entry level engineer and finishing as an Architect/Chief Consultant) in engineering, product management, consulting, sales, and support.
Whether in high-tech, teaching or coaching sports teams, Chris has always motivated individuals and teams to excel beyond their own expectations and find joy in doing so. This has lead to numerous against-all-odds success stories ranging from an incredible on-time delivery record in business, to national championship wins for a mens and a womens Ultimate team, to getting gang-member 8th graders excited about reading poetry.
