Christian DE NEEF’s Summary

Christian De Neef has a degree as an electronics engineer. With close to 20 years of experience in IT and management, he has held a variety of positions related to system architecture & development, development support, project management, management consulting, transition management and work organization, research & development, etc.

In recent years, he has designed and launched several large-scale initiatives in the areas of methods & tools, education, and knowledge & content management.

Working at DMR's head office in Montreal from June 1992 to October 1996, he participated as a researcher in the development of the company's methodologies, and was responsible for the support and marketing of R&D products.

Back in Belgium since the autumn of 96, he has been responsible for the companies' methods & tools in Europe, the 1st European director for Education, and a global director of KM, successfully leading an international team of 20 people and providing company-wide KM services.

More recently, he has taken responsibility for Enterprise Content Management (ECM) service offerings in Europe, concentrating on National & European administrations (gov't, commission, agencies) as well as private sector. Until September 2005, when he started his own consultancy, he was also responsible for Fujitsu's Business Consulting practice in Belgium & Luxembourg.

Currently, he is starting a young, Romanian based, international management consultancy. He is also a partner in biznessence.

His assignments have led him to focus more on human and organizational issues -- such as transition management, organizational change management and technology transfer, as they pertain to IT. He has developed his career along these lines, taking on management responsibilities of increasing scope and importance.

Finally, he is regularly invited as a keynote speaker on a variety of subjects (Value Management, KM, ECM, Measurement, Quality) in international conferences.
