CrossTech Media is an interactive media and events organization, focusing on educating mid-sized companies on emerging technology, through face to face events, as well as via webinars, newsletters, blogs, and other online media.

My role is to define the Second Circle technologies, those which will impact organizations within the next 6-18 months, and that will require strategic consideration for your business. I build content for events, produce webinars and conference sessions, and write for the newsletter, blogs, and other publications we produce.

The other half of the business, CrossTech Partners, delivers capabilities in the Second Circle space, including enhanced digital marketing technologies, social media platforms, virtualization, business intelligence technology, and more. I work with the Partners team to set guidance, consult on strategy, and shape the execution of our projects.

Founded in September 2006 with Christopher S. Penn, the event has seen over a dozen implementations across the world, with another dozen already slated for 2007-2008 so far.

This position taught me everything from fundraising to event planning, including logistics and small conference organization. Since launching PodCamp, we have started the PodCamp Foundation to help other organizers better execute their events.
