Chrisanne is the creator of UnderstandingMarketing.com, an online resource for small business marketing information. Understanding Marketing teaches small business owners "do-it-yourself" marketing and public relations tactics. Sharing tips on how to create blogs, press releases, email, direct mail, websites, social marketing, public relations, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, pay-per-click, postcards, newsletters and more.
Chrisanne Sternal is also a marketing consultant with 10+ years experience, creating and executing marketing campaigns. She started out as a Graphic Designer but after a few years she realized that creating marketing strategies might be a better fit for her personality since she was always asking "why" are we doing this or that marketing tactic. So Chrisanne spent many years as an ad agency Account Manager and Marketing Manager. She worked with companies like Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Line to create successful direct mail, email and online campaigns, as well as strengthen their loyalty programs.
In April of 2008 Chrisanne went out on her own to create her marketing company, Sternal Consulting. Serving companies large and small with their marketing and public relations needs. Chrisanne works with a great group of designers, web programmers and copywriters to create marketing tactics that deliver returns.
