Chris is currently learning Ruby on Rails.
Chris was the technical lead at Fusion Ads, an online advertising company. Chris worked with the OpenX software package (which he says was horrific for the needs of Fusion Ads at the time) to create an ad platform perfectly suitable for Fusion Ads. He also created a simplistic PHP-based API for serving ads to desktop applications.
Chris has written for a number of technology publications that focus on Apple or WordPress.
Chris has been involved in the podcasting community for a few years now, but has been on a brief hiatus since fall 2007.
Chris has managed the Discovr website for Michael Mistretta — the show's host. Discovr is a weekly audio podcast that focuses on one tech topic each week and helps you learn as much as possible on that certain topic.
Chris has previously written for MacFocus Magazine on a weekly basis, which is an online technology magazine providing you with the latest apple news, from the view of teens.
Chris has also previously written the occasional article for WPCandy, which is a popular blog in the WordPress world.

(Marketing and Advertising industry)
August 2008 — January 2009 (6 months)
I chose a web host for an ad server that Fusion now uses, re-factored some of the ad server code, and simplified the interface to require less clicks for common tasks. I also helped to enhance the stats page to fit the needs of Fusion Ads. Lastly, I created a simple internal XML API for zone invocation.
