As Community Planner for Cultural Development with Port Stephens Council, Chloe drives the cultural program through the implementation of the Port Stephens Cultural Plan 2010 – 2013 and through ensuring that Council’s cultural objectives are integrated into Council policy, planning and decision making framework.
As Great Lakes Council's Integrated Planning Coordinator Chloe facilitated the transition of Council to an integrated planning framework:
• Facilitating a community engagement process to identify local priorities - including facilitating a series of community workshops and conducting a community survey;
• Publishing a 'Community Priorities Report';
• Engaging internal stakeholders from across council;
• Brokering strategic alliances with elected leaders, Government agencies, service providers and community organisations. to deliver the identified priorities; and
• Coordinating a range of funding programs to support community organisations to address the priorities.
Key achievments while GLC's Community Development Coordinator include: attracting multiple sources of funding, enabling establishment of a Community Development Team; establishing Council's Community Grants Program; and shifting Council’s focus from closing existing children’s services in Tuncurry to extending the services to Tea Gardens.
As part of the Mid North Coast Area Health Service Health Promotion Team Chloe established the Great Lakes Community Safety Network which continues to promote safety and prevent injuries. Chloe coordinated the NSW Falls Injury Prevention Network, including organising a state forum.
As part of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team Chloe developed and produced The MoodSwell, an award winning, interactive CD-ROM for young people with 24,000 copies distributed through community services and schools.
In private practice Chloe produced a range of CD-ROMs, websites and resources for community organisations and government agencies.

Chloe worked in five roles during her years at the health service:
• Area Injury Prevention / Health Promotion Officer where Chloe facilitated partnerships between government agencies, community organisations and the community toward developing ‘Safe Communities’. Chloe supported Safe Communities Coalitions in Macleay Hastings, Great Lakes, Nambucca and Coffs Harbour.
• Secretariat for the NSW Falls Injury Prevention Network which involved organising a state forum.
• Health Promotion Project Officer for the ‘No Smoke in your face’ program which was a tobacco education program involving Aboriginal families in the Kempsey area
• MoodSwell Project Officer, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team. The MoodSwell is an award winning Youth Suicide Prevention CD-ROM with over 30,000 copies distibuted through community organisations.

90% of clients had a focus on enhancing quality of life for the community which is in alignment with Chloe's purpose. Most projects were associated with community education campaigns.

The result of this 20 month project was an award winning youth suicide prevention CD-ROM. Over 30,000 copies of this resource have been distributed through community organisations, service providers and schools.
This virtual environment is where young people can explore their feelings, improve their skills in dealing with stressful situations and learn about issues such as drugs, mental health, grief, body image, relationships, conflict and getting help.
The CD includes 90 minutes of video, 30 minutes of music, 1000 pages of resources and ten interactive activities.
Chloe facilitated the participation of many young people who contributed their stories through theatre, peotry, art, music, personal journals and interviews.
