Helping organisations to get on, not get by, with information technology
Sydney Area, Australia
I am a business technology consultant at IPP Consulting. My professional background includes experience with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), Ernst & Young, the Australian Red Cross Blood Service and Sydney's New Children's Hospital. I completed a Master of Business & Technology (University of New South Wales, Australia) in June 2005. I'm also an experienced workplace trainer and have been taught facilitation techniques.
With CSC I worked with clients such as AMP, BHP Billiton, BlueScope Steel and Rio Tinto on a range of information management related projects. Between 2004 and 2006 I provided independent consulting services through my own consulting business, Chief Technology Solutions and assisted organisations such as Access Business Lawyers, Centacare Wollongong, HASSELL, Illawarra Regional Development Board, Project Coordination and Wideform.
I have presented at numerous conferences, have published a number of articles on business and technology issues, and currently write a regular blog, at http://chieftech.blogspot.com. I ran a series of successful master classes on knowledge management, in Singapore during 2006 and 2007.
I'm also a member of the NSW KM Forum committee and a supporter of the Illawarra ICT cluster.
