Search Consultant at Base One
Twickenham, United Kingdom
With over two years of search experience, my industry expertise spans both sides of the pond lending me a unique background that understands both the European and American online audiences.
With my roots firmly planted in SEO, I have expanded into social media and am currently monitoring SM avenues to asses how our clients are perceived online and of course, trying to mold that perception. Conversions, I believe, are the best way to measure search's effectiveness; the challenge is always deciding what will count as a conversion.
While I love a bit of PPC and believe it's a great way to up initial traffic, I advocate using PPC as a small part of a larger online marketing strategy. Conversions most often come form organic results hence SEO should be any organization''s top priority.
Also, I've started to guest post on http://www.SearchEngineJournal.com and http://www.DailySEOTip.com. You can also see my recent Marketing Pilgrim post here:
