My marketing and editorial experiences range between publishing and journalism, but my professional focus is on International Marketing, in particular between China and the U.S. I worked as the Admissions Director at the Samra University of Oriental Medicine, where my responsibilities were to spread the understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Western market. Previously, I was the VP Marketing at China Books, where I promoted cultural awareness by importing and publishing books from or about China.
I have B.A. at Kenyon College and M.F.A. in writing at the University of San Francisco. I have been published in Publishers Weekly, Best Travel Writing 2005, and other journals. I have extensive international professional experience throughout Asia and Europe including China, South Korea, Japan, Guam, and Spain. I am conversationally fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and Spanish.
