As a chef my passion is for cooking delicious food using the freshest ingredients possible, incorporating exotic and local vegetables, fruits, and grains into healthy dishes that are full of robust flavors. One of my most valuable skills is that I can adapt almost any recipe to accommodate salt/fat/sugar/carb restrictions.
COOKING LESSONS: I can help people fit healthier foods into their lifestyle...or teach you to make a decadent meal for a celebration. It's all about YOU and what you want. I can also present classes upon request.
PERSONAL CHEF: I cater exclusively in-home, creating intimate dinners for up to 12 guests in a private residence. I can provide china, stemware, flatware and specialty-service items, and everything in between. I can create a gourmet restaurant in your home for the evening.
CONSULTATION: I can act as your liaison to the caterer/party planner you hire. (for example, helping to review your menu and venue layout to make sure that it fits with the style of service you want to provide. I can also appear on-site to manage service staff and ensure that beautiful, delicious plates & platters are served to your guests.
CULINARY ADVICE: I respond to cooking questions ChefsLine; information can be found at http://www.ChefJoAnna.com/chefchat/ I can also present classes or do product demonstrations upon request.
I am ServSafe certified, and have excellent references.
