I am currently a contributing writer for the premiere stand-up comedy publication Punchline Magazine. My comedy writing can be read in the Style Slip Ups section of the nationally published fashion magazine Life&Style and I have articles featured on the Comedy Central Insider blog. I have interviewed veteran stand-up comics like George Lopez, Jeffery Ross, Kyle Cease, and Reno Collier as well several road seasoned local favorites. My interview process is always professional and engaging, and yet still reads as though a day-to-day conversation took place. If you have something that needs to be written, punched up, or consulted on, please contact Chase Roper at chase.roper@gmail.com.
I am a dedicated Christian family man with great ambitions to write thought provoking screenplays, articles, and short stories that are entertaining and inspiring, and also make people laugh.

When this site first launched, I was invited to come try to host my own show. I attempted (somewhat successfully) to host live shows about topical subjects that would help spark great dialog while also being relevant and entertaining. I would love to start this up again once I have to develop a clear marketing strategy to gain more live listeners. My shows on Abortion and Scientology continue to be downloaded by other BTR listeners.
