Communication Consultant at ElectraNet
Adelaide Area, Australia
Looking back, I moved into the IT arena as Project Administrator on International projects with my skills eventually taking me to Sydney and to the management of web implementations, to managing websites such as the Commonwealth Bank that contained over 3000 content pages.
Returning to Adelaide I developed the Australia Post CRM Intranet whilst managing their (IT) Business Services. However my passion for promoting the community saw me eventually working for the not-for-profit CISA Inc. My role as Knowledge Manager there encompassed business development with marketing/PR of community services eg Eventspool.
Moving into government - whilst at OCBA I provided strategic leadership in ensuring the cost-effective provision of high-quality electronic (web), print and promotional resources. I undertook the Government of South Australia re-branding exercise: firstly establishing OCBA's brand position and then managing the implementation, including a significant website redevelopment.
As Communication Consultant for the Office of Public Employment I was called upon to provide communication advice, consultancy and support for the identification, planning and management of a plethora of high-level marketing and promotional strategies, specifically created to facilitate a positive professional image for the public sector.
As the Senior Consultant Communications within the Department of Treasury and Finance, SSRO, my role was responsible for activities including branding, marketing communications (including newsletters, publications and document templates), internal communications (staff newsletters, intranet), external website and agency briefings to relevant government personnel (over 3000 employees).
I am currently the Communications Consultant for ElectraNet, accountable for the effective analysis, development and delivery of business wide communications, public relations and marketing initiatives.
I also freelance as CharlieDesign.
