Project Lead at Microsoft
Greater Seattle Area
Since 1995 I’ve been intimately involved in almost every aspect of online marketing—search engine marketing (both PPC and SEO), bulk email marketing, copy and technical writing, project and web management, coding (Dynamic HTML, ASP, SQL), and web analytics. Currently I am a Project Lead for middle tier advertising clients of adCenter, Microsoft's search engine advertising platform.
Before that, I was a professional sailor. I delivered yachts between Hawaii and San Francisco, taught advanced courses in damage control and spinnaker handling, ran a charter boat out of Monterey, captained a private yacht from Palm Beach, a dive boat in Key Largo, and managed a marine salvage company in Fort Lauderdale.
Digital marketing, search engine marketing (PPC, SEO), bulk email marketing, web management, web development, web analytics, copy writing, technical writing.

I was responsible for Bluewater’s print publications (pre-press and desktop publishing) as well as project manager for their first commercial web site. Dissatisfied with the results, I learned HTML and built a site that eventually offered 4,000 SKUs and dominated its niche market. Several years later I was hired as a contractor to build Bluewater a dynamic site that included content management, internal search, and complex cross-categorization.
