Charles T. Pinck has worked for several leading investigative firms in the United States. Widely recognized as an investigative expert, Mr. Pinck regularly publishes and speaks on investigative strategies and privacy issues.
He is a partner at The Georgetown Group, which helps its corporate and legal clientele solve a wide array of problems worldwide using sophisticated, discreet, and cost-effective investigative methods to find critical information.
Mr. Pinck leads investigations arising from complex litigation, fraud and other types of white collar crime, due diligence, background inquiries, sensitive internal corporate matters, and international inquiries.
Mr. Pinck began his investigative career specializing in opposition research for a political consulting company and has worked as a staff member for both U.S. Senate and presidential campaigns. Mr. Pinck also played a vital role in the creation of the Detective Information Network, a company that was among the first to use the Internet for investigative purposes. He served as the Network’s first director of research.
Mr. Pinck has been published in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Security Management, Corporate Counsel, Corporate Security, The White Paper, Security Director News and Legal Times.
Mr. Pinck has also developed repeated presentations for the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
Mr. Pinck is president of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) Society of McLean, VA, a nonprofit organization the celebrates the historic accomplishments of World War II's OSS, the forerunner of the Central Intelligence Agency and US Special Forces, and educates the public about the importance of strategic intelligence to our national security.
