From pool room to board room, I have more than 40 years experience refining the steps that bring people together to make business alliances work. After obtaining my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business from Babson College, I spent almost 30 years at Ford Motor Company.
During my last 10 years at Ford, I successfully brought to fruition 46 licensing arrangements in twelve countries, nine joint ventures in four countries, six acquisitions and two divestitures.
Later, while President & COO of the Strategic Alliances Consulting Group, I developed 3 specific planning processes which were implemented successfully at many automotive supplier operations in North America and Europe, as well as a variety of small entrepreneurial business enterprises in the US.

Provided negotiating/mediation services to Ford Motor Company to assist in the orderly transfer of business and the sale of the supplier companies to more financially stable corporate entities. Services included locating and interviewing potential buyers, successful negotiation of divestitures and satisfactory mediation with creditors.
Developed a “road map”, including implementation of business assessment, business development and business planning processes to bring a $1 billion + company out of Chapter 11.
