21 year as a Mac user, particularly running an import business using networked Macs (1990's) taught me a lot. Apple certifications have taught me more. 13 years helping keep Macs and networks running properly and helping clients be as productive as possible have taught me the most.
I have taken many courses, read a ton of books, but the best education has been "in the field". This is true for my web design/development work as well.

I started IndoPacific Trading Company after a visit to Indonesia. I saw an enormous wealth of fine handicrafts, tribal art and antiques, and fell in love with the place and the crafts. I began using my basement as a warehouse, and grew rapidly until I had 7 employees and a commercial warehouse, with customers from Alaska to Columbia, in every state of the US and a dozen or more other countries. This is where I learned how to maintain Macintosh computers, as we used Macs to run the business. After years of being on the road 7 months a year, I finally grew tired of the grind and closed the company.
Engineering 1967 — 1969
I also attended Cal Poly, Pomona studying Civil Engineering 1966-67, but was forced to drop out due to a car accident.
