Is RU a credible institution? I researched RU & knew about them for 4 years before starting my DBA. I am unaware of anything that can provide verification RU exists outside of its own web site other than the growing # of students, professors & alumni. RU is legally registered as a university & legally permitted to issue degrees. A company willing to reimburse RU tuition says something about RUs credibility.
The RU process has integrity. As a customer Ive had a +ve experience - the faculty is excellent & provides a solid support structure. Ru is a clever package.
RU is a lot of work - the student does EVERYTHING or nothing happens! The work is the credibility. I have a Kellogg MBA, a top US grad biz school. Hard work, incredible experience, but I will put 1000X more work into my DBA than MBA because of the RU methodology.
Based on how biz schools structure the MBA vs DBA, it should be 10-20X more work. In the future, we'll see more programs like RU.
