Charles A. Nutt, CFRE
Charles Nutt is a graduate of Malone College, Canton, OH. He holds the Certificate of Fund Raising Management from The Fund Raising School at the Indiana University Center on Philanthropy, and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). Charles is also an ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene and served in pastoral and staff ministry for more than 25 years. Since 1981, he has been a member of the Board of Management of Sebring Interdenominational Campmeeting in Sebring, OH, and has served as its President since 1990.
Currently, he is a Consultant for RSI Institutional Services Group, a ministry focused fundraising firm, specializing in services for multi-church organizations, schools, and other types of Christian ministries. His work includes conducting planning and assessment studies, periodic counsel, and major gift/capital campaign project management.
Charles’ development experience includes service as Director of Development for the Jackson Corps, and as Associate Director of Development for the Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi Division of the Salvation Army, Jackson, MS. He has also served as Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Wesley Biblical Seminary in Jackson, and the historic Piney Woods School, Piney Woods, MS.
Charles served as campaign Consultant for Salvation Army Corps in Gadsden and Selma, AL, conducted long range planning and mission studies, and advisory board assessment and training efforts throughout Louisiana and Mississippi. He’s brought considerable experience to planning and assessment studies for the Seward Peninsula Lutheran Ministry, Mission Alive, Hillcrest Christian School, and the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. His major gift campaign experience includes service with Massanetta Springs Camp and Conference Center, Concordia Tacoma Lutheran School, Lutheran Services Florida, and the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches.
