Senior Architect for CNN's Newsroom integration project. Responsible for design / requirements of newsroom digital conversion. This entailed integrating hardware from Ingest all the way to air, including systems from Pinnacle, Virage, Kasenna and IPV. Along with the design and requirements I was responsible for delivering systems which controlled 24x7 ingest encoders storing media from satellite feeds. My current project consists of replacing the low resolution (proxy) server with a more robust / scaleable solution that will house proxy for all of CNN's 300,000 hours of media going forward.
