My two main professional goals are to gain experience at a news or journalistic organization and pursuing higher education. I love reporting and working from the field, and would relish any position that includes creating content, be it text, video or online interactive. While I hope to gather some real-world experience first, I also plan to continue my education in law or graduate school.
I have experience working for The Arizona Republic, State Press and The Washigton Post in positions from breaking news reporter to web editor.
My skills include writing and editing to AP style, photo production and editing (Photoshop), video production and editing (Final Cut), website building with Dreamweaver, and knowledge of HTML and Flash.
