Social Entrepreneur and Visionary on a Mission to Change the World
Greater New York City Area
At the young age of seven, I made a commitment to myself and parents that I would change the world and have made that my sole mission in life. My passions include improving access to and quality of education for adults, international relations, economic development, and human rights issues, among many others.
In 2006, I founded Literacy ‘n’ Poverty Project, a startup nonprofit organization that works to alleviate poverty and improve adult education worldwide through advocacy, research and service. This is the beginning stage of an international social enterprise. In addition to leading LnP, I also started Chanelle Carver International, a company devoted to changing the world and empowering others to achieve their dreams.
By combining my love for business and nonprofit, I have developed a career in social change that enables me to continue my life's mission - TO CHANGE THE WORLD thus making society a better place for all. This is success, the way I define it! I am a young woman on a mission.
