I grew up in San Francisco and moved to Seattle in 1991. A year after that I started getting into theatre and continued with it until I got my theatre degree in 1999.
I first got into vaudeville and clowning in 1998 when I saw the Tony Award winning neo-vaudeville show "Fool Moon" starring Bill Irwin, David Shiner and the Red Clay Ramblers.
I’ve always been a fan of silent movies and the great comedians like Chaplin, Stan Laurel and Buster Keaton. But it wasn’t until early 2007 when I pursued vaudeville as a vocation. I lined up a few gigs. A weekend long stint at Spring Fair 2007 and shows at the Eugene Saturday Market. I’ve trained with Revered Chumleigh, Magical Mystical Michael and have met a lot of amazing people in this business.
I do a lot of legitimate theatre here in Seattle but I try to keep as involved in Vaudeville as I can. I’ve written several shows and have one in the works now.
