Independent Web/Music Business Professional
Japan
I entered the music industry starting with the part-time job in the record shop "Virgin Megastore Kyoto", and joined the record company "Ponycanyon", and took charge of the production advertisement of rock music CDs (XTC, Big Mountain, Feeder etc.).
However, I felt the possibility in new marketing and circulation that used Web, and was engaged in the development of the online music distribution business.
So, I participated in the start-up of "Tsutaya Online" , "Listen.com Japan" and "Image.net Japan".
These5 years, I am taking charge of the development management of the community and web 2.0 service in the portal site "Yahoo! Japan" and "Excite Japan".
And now, I am preparing the start-up of the next generation online media.
