Was directly involved in commercial development as a site selector for Publix, Lowes, CVS, Walgreens and other various commercial projects. As part of the site selection process I was responsible for running demographics studies as well as updating those demos with new construction projects withing the 1, 3, or 5 mile ring around the site in questions. I also was responsible for identifying zoning or concurrency issues as it related to an new projects impacting the community at large.

I was also involved in the negotiation of contracts between the user and site owner. Often my job would require some sit down meetings with the various municipalities over zoning and permitting issues.
