Is life with kids and a home-based business working out the way you thought it would?
You squeeze in work wherever you can. Whenever you’re not picking up toys, feeding a baby, washing clothes, preparing dinner, putting someone down for a nap or changing a diaper you’re with your computer. And you feel guilty about it.
You feel guilty for not being present with your children even though you’re home with them.
Some days you wonder how you're going to get through the next 24 hours. On other days, things just seem to go by without incident. I know you’re feeling overwhelmed, you might even feel powerless, from listening to all the "shoulds" flying around out there about parenting, child care and running a business. You are wondering how you can possibly make this whole working at home thing work. You're feeling a little selfish and probably guilty for wanting the best of both worlds - working at home and raising a young family.
Here’s the thing. You’re perfectly normal. You might feel hopeless but you are not a failure.
You have no idea how strong you are and the answer to what you need is coming from within.
I'm here to remind you to listen what you’re telling yourself.
My hope, my goal and my mission is to help you reconnect with your deep, wise, inner voice. Taking care of you is not selfish. In fact if you are not making self-care a priority in your life, you are cheating your children, your husband, your friends, loved ones even business associates and clients from having all of you at their disposal.
It's not easy for a mom to put herself first. But let's rally together, share our stories, worries, challenges and wins.
Together we can support each other on our individual journey towards being the best mother, wife, friend, and entrepreneur we can each be. You don't need to try to figure it out all alone anymore. After all, that's what we as women do best – we come together and help each other.
