Cerese Godfrey’s Summary

I have worked in the Dodge County School System for 28 years in various capacities. I began my career in middle grades special education then shifted to teach Kindergarten. I also taught second grade for 6 years and spent a year teaching third grade. I worked 5 years teaching remedial classes for Kindergarten through fifth grade then 4 years as the school technology teacher. During my years teaching in the classroom, I also assisted with the school student information system. After obtaining a master degree in Educational Technology, I became the district technology coordinator for 10 years. I was an active member of the Heart of Georgia Education Technology Center Technology(HoG ETC) Leadership group. I conducted some training classes at the HoG ETC during this time. In 2006, received a specialists degree in Instructional Technology.

I am currently working as the district Student Information Director and Assistive Technology Specialist.
