PROFILE : I am a hard working person with a passion for creative & thought provoking concepts. I love exploring new forms of design & I like being surrounded by like-minded people because it is through the sharing of ideas that we can truly be original.
I also enjoy organizing events having done so on a small scale for some poets & some musicians in Johannesburg , this involved planning the actual event, organizing the venue & equipment as well as designing all the media for promoting the events.
I am currently working on part time basis with a new charitable organization called The Global Native that deals with skills empowerment in Zimbabwe & other impoverished parts of Africa, their main aim being in teaching people how to produce for themselves & providing them with resources where they would not need to depend on aid. My job there deals with launching, marketing & media planning as well as producing the corporate identity & other design aspects for the group.

This is a freelance graphic design company a friend & I started in order to enhance our own creativity & break out of the mold of our 9-5 jobs. We all retained our full time jobs while we freelanced. We had marketing & advertising email campaigns that we came up with & I designed & sent out to some of our contacts whom we encouraged to forward the ads, to try to ensure the contacts we sent the ads to passed them forward we would add some humor or little jibes at current events & public figures. This afforded us a chance to reach a wide spectrum of people at no cost at all.
Now, the audience we reach was not necessarily our target market but we did get a few hits through referrals & that’s where we got most of our clients from. All the work we did exceeded our client’s expectations as our approach was less conventional as we got more into our clients heads to find out who they where first so we could tailor the final products according to their personalities & as a result we built lasting relationships in & outside the job.

This is a silk screen printing company that specializes in the printing of garments for both large scale & small scale events in sports, politics, fundraising & popular events. Major clients include Vodacom, MTN, Cell-C, Telkom, the ANC & a host of other public & private sector organizations both local & abroad.
Duties * Dealing directly with clients to provide the following
• Layouts for client proofs
• Getting artwork repro-ready
• Re-Drawing logo’s, color separation & image manipulation & correction
• Getting final client approval & giving final go ahead to print factory manager
