The visionary force behind Celebration USA, and the annual synchronized "Pledge Across America" held on Constitution Day, September 17th. I am a naturalized citizen whose enthusiasm, and my great love of country have enhanced my student's ability to see the world and their country with a greater appreciation. In 1992 Celebration U.S.A. honored the 100th anniversary of Francis Belemy’s Pledge of Allegiance with the first annual “Pledge Across America”, the nationally synchronized recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance in schools. I continue to take great pleasure in presenting Celebration USA's materials to the many other educators who will share it with students across the country.
