Two year project preparation developing a working model of a Die Fill System to investigate varying physical properties of powders. Budget of approximately £7000.
Team of five Mechanical Engineers, consulted with technicians from FESTO (pneumatic and automation company) in reviewing system performance and analysing mechanical components.
Conducted powder tests in air and vacuum and compared generated profiles to varying Die Fill methods using a high speed video camera.
