I have been in the hospitality/senior housing business for over 20 years as well as a business, marketing, consumer behavior and advertising professor on the college level. I have also performed business consulting on development, marketing and management issues.

I started Cedar House Inn in 2003 from scratch with my wife and positioned the business in the eco friendly/green lodging niche before "green" was popular. We started with a house that needed a great deal of refurbishment to make it liveable for us and marketable to the general public. We have not only purchased eco friendly equipment but instituted green operating practices. Our mission is to help make guests more aware of the finite natural resources and how they can use simple methods to conserve in their own home while still remaining comfortable.
