Not-so-stiff, Informal Profile: Chris Reed has already had a varied career as a journalist - from sportswriter, to assistant news editor for a newspaper to senior editor at a trade magazine company - to work as a publicist.

Reed's past work includes a writing stint at the Los Angeles Daily News, heading the sports department of the Palisadian-Post in Pacific Palisades, Calif., assistant news editor at the Daily Bulletin in Ontario, Calif., and a senior editor at Torrance, Calif.'s Bobit Business Media.
He was most recently the director of publicity for expandable space module manufacturer Bigelow Aerospace, and now produces public relations work on a freelance basis.
Time not devoted to family that includes two great kids and career are devoted to.... well, what time is there left? Someday, he'll find time to surf the Web, be an avid lover of movies and sports, playing NFL2K5 on his X-Box, attending the latest U2 tour, and just veging out.
After a 33-year lifetime growing up in Southern California, Chris moved to the Las Vegas Valley and has grown to truly love it.
Reed was a delegate to the Nevada State Democratic Convention for Sen. Barack Obama, and also serves on the Clark County Central Committee for the Democratic Party.
