Business Consultant, Analyst Relations, PR, Communications Professional, YouTube Analyst and Horse Trainer.
Greater Boston Area
I have more than 15 years of experience in marketing and communications and as many years as an olympic level horse trainer and equestrian. I have demonstrated measurably successful corporate communications initiatives. I am always interested in positions within good companies that may inspire my passion and will benefit from infectious enthusiasm, drive and uniquely creative communications skills. I have had three short stories recently published in two anthologies. I recently launched a new business based on using Bareback as a complement for training upper level dressage horses. I totally have fun doing whatever I do.
(Marketing and Advertising industry)
August 2006 — Present (3 years 4 months)
Inspired by emerging marketing and promotional vehicles such as YouTube, myspace, facebook, and google, I have launched walnut28 communications. Clients include an internet startup, where I served as vice president of corporate communications (see below); a large Boston HPO; and a Night Vision company, where I served as the vice president of marketing, scoring articles in some tier one magazines, pitching and authoring the cover story for "Law Enforcement Technology Magazine" (Links at my blog http://cclemens.typepad.com). Currently, I am Acting Vice President of Marketing for a Nashua-based High Tech machine vision company. Recent coverage includes Reuters and a CEO feature interview in the Nashua Telegraph. My short story, "Feet First", was recently published in an anthology "BACK STORY: First Time Tales by the Stranger Next Door." Two more stories were just published in another anthology "SATURDAYS @ 9." I also trained, competed and recently sold an international level dressage horse.

August 2006 — November 2006 (4 months)
While working on the business plan for this controversial but dynamic Internet start-up, I formulated a business plan based on YouTube and user-generated advertising. Six months later, Dorito's leveraged this concept in the Crash the Superbowl advertising contest; and a few months later, TurboTax followed with their Tax Rap video competition on YouTube. While some might say these big names "beat me" in the race to execution, this spin-mistress prefers to view them as ringing endorsements of my vision and creativity.
