E-Commerce and Web Content Distribution Professional
Dallas/Fort Worth Area
I am interested in operational and economic issues of Content Delivery Services including Proxy caching. I propose a model that improves the performance of proxy cache up to 50%. I am also developing a model for web content providers to choose capacity when the web server faces a sudden and significant surge in traffic. In the case of content distribution I am studying on a model of capacity and location decision. My research goals to further study content delivery issues and provide insights to the industry.
In 10 years, I want to be an entrepreneur providing IT Strategy, Business Intelligence, and Web Strategy to a wide variety of industries. Regardless of the professional position I am holding/will hold, I have a desire to publish my research in highly-respected journals.
