In 2003, I was honored by the Oregon News Publishers Assocation for page design and feature photography. In 2004, my work on the Opinion Page - in collaboration with the editor - was selected for recognition. The section garnered first place in its division. I was also recognized, with the rest of the newsroom, for the annual agriculture magazine, “Horizons” that placed second. The newspaper was also awarded first place in the general excellence category, recognizing it as the top daily newspaper with a circulation of 10,000 or less in Oregon
