The Marshall Christensen Foundation exists to Share Knowledge, Inspire Hope, and Develop Leaders. We do this through the careful instruction and relationships with international students in Central Asia, Ukraine, Mexico, Philippines, and other developing countries. In addition, The MCF hosts a Leadership Academy in Oregon each summer with students from various countries, focused on developing their business acumen from the standpoint of a Servant Leader.

I originally consulted the Wolf Education & Research Center and presented a business plan to the Board of Directors that would help the organization re-brand itself in the face of a diminishing presence in its field. Upon presentation of the plan, the Board asked me to implement the plan as Executive Director. Our plan involves identifying WERC as a source of information and education related to the conservation and preservation of the gray wolf species. We carry this plan out by reaching out in areas including K-12 education, on-site public outreach, intern development, and online & print publications. In 2008, WERC brought in a new pack of wolves to use as ambassadors for our education and intern programs, allowing people to get face to face with a better understanding of wolves in healthy ecosystems---the centerpiece of our message.
