I am a London-based media freelancer/consultant. I specialise in participatory (community) media and online, focusing on:
~ project management, training and faciitation
~ production and reporting for radio and new media
~ research
I set up and run the media charity London Link Radio. As part of its activities, I manage an annual online radio project Refugee Week Radio (in June) and London Link Radio's contributions to Radio 1812 (in December).
I am one of the tutors for the PEARLS radio production course for women run by Desi Radio and Women's Radio Group. I also manage Women's Radio Group's contribution to the 'imMEDIAte' Grundtvig transnational partnership, training women in media (with partners in Vienna and Madrid).
I also set up and run several media reference websites, including Children and Radio and London Literature Online.
As a researcher, I am experienced in survey research techniques (qualitative and quantitative), data analysis and information research.
My published work (print and audio) covers a range of topics including the media, education, travel, migrants, public transport, libraries and women's issues.
Project management, radio production and training (speech radio), using media for empowerment, managing volunteers.
Website design (html), managing information websites.

My work regularly involves partnership projects, often publicly funded, for example with Women's Radio Group (radio training charity) and Desi Radio (community radio station in Southall).
