I have 8 years experience as a classroom teacher. My specialty is gifted education. Currently I am training teachers for gifted certification in the state of Alabama.
I have 6 years experience as consultant to schools in the area of working with gifted students, improving education for all students. I have worked as consultant in Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Alabama, Louisiana, as well as South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, and Equador.
My research interests are improving access to gifted programming for diverse students, and teachers' epistemological beliefs.
