While at TEEX I implemented e-mail marketing and search engine optimization (SEO) resulting in a 35% increase in website traffic, a 42% increase in online class registrations and a 41% increase in online sales, all in a 4 month period. I designed email marketing sales and informational pieces for distribution through Bronto and used Bronto statistics to adjust campaigns accordingly. I analyzed web site statistics via WebTrends, provided summary reports to senior management, and made recommendations regarding future changes based on the reports.

At Mays I worked both independently and with a small team to design, develop, test, and maintain the college’s web sites. I redesigned the e-zine, Mays Business Online, and converted its text-only e-mail marketing piece to a an e-mail marketing campaign utilizing Bronto. Using Bronto and web site statistics, I tweaked the web sites and e-zine to better serve our audience’s interests. I also created specialized web and print pieces for college functions and photographed special events and facilities for the college’s print magazine and annual report.

As Texas A&M University’s webmaster, my responsibilities included maintaining the university’s web site (www.tamu.edu), analyzing web site traffic and statistics, publishing emergency and breaking news press releases on the web site and answering all e-mail sent to webmaster@tamu.edu. I also provided web development and design on a competitive contract basis through the Office of University Relations and designed sites for Fish Camp, Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost, European Union Center at A&M, University President, Texas A&M Visitor Center, and the Research Foundation.
