Carter Hoyt was named as a Finalist in the Women Helping Women category at the 3rd annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business. Qualifying Carter for her finalist status is her volunteer work with women at the Atlanta Jail. Through her church, Carter leads a team of women who visit women inmates at the Atlanta Detention Center and, on a case-by-case basis, facilitate post incarceration entry into residential addiction recovery programs, and re-entry into society’s mainstream thereafter.
