In addition to providing leadership for Clew, David spends a portion of each week working as a Program Manager for Microsoft's Office of the CSA and as an Associate with Reed Shay.
Before creating Clew in 2001, David served as Chairman and CEO of everpath, Inc., a venture-backed software and internet services firm. He successfully raised venture financing and defined strategies and goals for the firm. Previously, Dave co-founded and managed Thorn & Graves, a consulting firm catering to emerging market organizations. Earlier, David worked for several years in consulting and research as a principal with a boutique firm. He began his professional career with Fidelity Investments as an Equity Trading Assistant within Fidelity Capital Markets, and later worked as a Research Associate within Fidelity Capital.
David received his BFA from the George Washington University and his MBA from Babson College, where he authored a case on valuation for the Division Chair of Finance. He has also worked as a Volunteer Teacher with the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) through the Citizen's Schools of Boston and continues to participate in Babson's innovative Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork Program (CLTP) program.
David has written extensively in the areas of human resources, research as well as competitive intelligence covering numerous processes, products and opinions. He has provided expert commentary to myriad industry publications ranging from Fortune Magazine, WSJ and the Boston Globe to Wired, CFO and the Sunday NY Times.
Memberships: Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE), Human Capital Institute (Founding Member), Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP), SCIP Partner Program and Association of Independent Information Professionals (AIIP). David also serve (s) on the board of JigSaw Data Corporation (info/data) and Conditor, LLC (iPhone apps).
