1996 -1990 St. Alban's Boys' And Girls Club - Held the position of Executive Director for this 40 year old organization during a transitional period moving the agency from a corporate model to community based model of service delivery. Under my leadership the agency expanded its service mandate for children ages 7-17 years to a vision of community recreational services of all ages.
1989- 1985 East Scarborough Boys and Girls Club - Serving as Executive Director the agency expanded it's mandate of recreational services only to include a comprehensive day care service for children ages 21/2 to 9 years, a preschool drop in program and day care consultation program. August 1979 — August 1984 (5 years 1 month)
Executive Director for the Glengarry Day Care Center - an initiative of the local government to help establish day care in the province, provide training, and a model of care for community groups across the province. The 80 child space center was a partner in a number of special projects. A research project with Dr. Sheila Campbell of the University of Alberta, conducted at the day care in the early 80's helped to establish the need for an optimum space requirement for children in care. The center also hosted one of the first initiatives to integrate special needs children into regular daycare environment settings with a high degree of success.
Due to changing public policy, the center operation was transferred to a local non profit community group in 1984.
In this position I had the privilege to work with and learn from child care visionaries such as Andy Dorash, the late Janice McBeath and Jean Thompson.

Applying scientific findings, spiritual principles or systems such as Resonance Repatterning(R) into practical applications that everyone can use for everyday situations. In between I enjoy doing small time quilting projects, learning new web technologies, and creating new uses for old stuff. I love Ebay.
