I lead specialty classes such as Chair Yoga for Seniors. This is a very gentle series of exercises for the elderly. Done sitting in chairs, it is suitable for those in wheelchairs as well as those who are ambulatory.

I have developed this series of exercises over six years of working with seniors. It is light hearted and fun. It includes a number of exercises using the hands to stimulate brain functioning and can be very good for those at risk for Alzheimer's.

We use ancient yogic technology to move and stretch every major muscle group in the body, and everyone is left feeling tingly and energized all over.

    (Health, Wellness and Fitness industry)

    April 1996Present (13 years 8 months)

I have been a self-employed practicing massage therapist for 12 years. At massage school I discovered that I had a healing touch. This was not something I had to learn, it was innate. It took me some time to trust that I really had this ability, but so many people told me I had it, I finally had to accept that it was so.

Over the years I have expanded my skills to include corporate chair massage. I provided this service to workers at US West and at Qwest when US West became Qwest, for a number of years. I enjoy doing events also, most recently I provided chair massage services at the Art of Recovery Expo in Phoenix.

I also added Hot Stone Massage to my skills. This is a deeply relaxing and beneficial therapy, which is also very enjoyable,
