I run Nokia's Hildon software team. I started the team in 2003 and ramped it up from scratch, hiring all its members. We're responsible for the Hildon handheld environment used in Nokia's Internet Tablets (770, N800, N810) and in the Maemo platform.
Hildon is based on the GNOME platform so we're close to the GNOME project. I represent Nokia in the GNOME Foundation's advisory board since we joined in 2005. I'm active representing Nokia in industry and open-source initiatives such as the GNOME Mobile and Embedded initiative and Linux Desktop Architects gatherings.
