February 2009 — Present (10 months)
I am responsible for learning and being the main resource for understanding the overarching technical details of our intelligent building system. There will also be a particular focus for me on data security and fault tolerance. In a small company such as Yoga it is also essential to be flexible and grab the smartest and most efficient solutions, something I am continuously passionate about doing.

Moved to Estonia and was part of developing the company since when it had only two full-time employees. Successfully met many challenges of developing complex technology while continuously improving internal tools, communication standards and team work. Formally the work title was “support engineer” but it required extreme flexibility to perform widely differing tasks, of which the most complex was fully understanding and communicating the novel cryptographic algorithm for data integrity proof. Other major tasks were designing a fault-tolerant distributed server system and engineering ASN.1-based cryptographic protocols using C and Java.
