My background has involved a number of leadership positions and learning opportunities.
These leadership and learning opportunities began with a management position with Dominion Investments, LLC of Hudson, WI in 1993. As a General Manager I managed the training and supervision of a staff of 30-40 employees.
In 1999, I entered into service as a United States Marine and served as an Aviation Electrician and Collateral Duty Inspector until June of 2003 when I was Honorably discharged.
After my service in the Marine Corps I went back to school and completed two certificates, Object Oriented Programming and Simulation Programming, and one Associates Degree, IT Programmer/Analyst, at the Chippewa Valley Technical College.
I am now completing my Bachelor's Degree for a BS in Information and Communication Technologies at the University of Wisconsin - Stout campus.
I am lead consultant for the startup company Capable Media in Eau Claire, Wisconsin which offers Internet marketing and Search Engine Optimization services for small and medium sized businesses.
I am also a Java Programmer at Great Lakes Higher Education in their ECommerce Department. In this capacity I am expanding my Java programming proficiencies with Java Struts, Struts 2, JavaServer Faces/Facelets, and other Frameworks.
