In addition to assisting project managers with preparation and execution of large or complex meetings, I will be responsible for organizing and updating training manuals, documents, process outlines, and templates. Other responsibilities include but not limited to, planning and facilitating organized and efficient project meetings, create work plans, works with project sponsors to define and control project scope, and monitors day-to-day project life-cycle activities. Working closely with the Project Services Manager. I seek to improve efficiencies in work processes and procedures while performing a broad range of administrative duties including preparing reports and presentations, managing the department calendar, arranging catering and other meeting logistics, and tracking and managing the team expenses and budget.

    Anglo American who is a global leader in the mining industry, appointed Hewlett Packard and BT to upgrade and standardize the entire Anglo American IT infrastructure to a single “Global Service Desk”. At the end of the project life, Anglo American will have a standard desk top environment, server environment, data centre and service centre that will be run by Hewlett Packard on a global level. (Europe, Africa, South America, North America)

    My responsibilities are to assist with transformation of the Ferrous SCAW Metals business of Anglo American country wide, the bodies that are involved in the meetings consist of Anglo American, BT and third parties. I document quality, standards, risks, issues and procurement on a central share point that Anglo American, BT and Hewlett Packard have access to. The entire project is based on PMBok methodologies. (Initiation, planning, execution, control and closure)
