Pioneered the blog format in the late 1990s with personal blog started in June of 1997. Founder of the cms-list (www.cms-list.org), largest community on the Internet for the discussion of content management systems (3000+ members).
Second-longest-running weblog on the Internet - camworld.com (since June, 1997). Designed and developed the blog and online community strategies for both Wesley Clark's (grew to more than 15,000 members/blogs in 8 weeks) and John Kerry's presidential campaigns.
Co-founded Confabb.com, an online social network built around the largest database of conferences in the world.
