I do this by using social networking, blogging, online profiles, social media marketing & SEO (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, WordPress).
My clients have gotten opportunities (ie., teaching webinars), new sales and collaboration deals from using my services with social networking.
I want to meet biz owners who understand the power of social networking & social media marketing & need help with getting it going!
My passion surrounding social networking has absolutely nothing to do w/ what I do for my clients. It is this ~ imagine that you cannot communicate verbally as the majority of the population does. You are cognitively at level with your peers, have tons of information to share, questions to ask, questions to answer & your way of communicating is sign language, writing it on paper and/or using a communication device. It's impossible to have a real time back & forth conversation like this. Imagine how frustrating this would be for you.
Then along comes email, instant chat, Skype, blogging, Facebook, Twitter, etc. You are suddenly able to communicate in real time in a way that others are communicating. The world is shifting to make way for these individuals ~ to be a part of the real time conversation.
Why does this matter to me? I can speak just fine (although w/ a southern drawl). My daughter, Lillian Darnell, 7 yrs old, has a chromosome disorder (18p-) in which her speech is about 90% unintelligible. She emails, uses instant chat on Skype, blogs and makes entries on our Facebook Biz Page. Which leads me to my TRUE Passion ~
That special needs children like my daughter, Lillian, are prime candidates to become entrepreneurs!
