I play slow-pitch softball, like clean backgrounds and smoke old stogies (short, but not too big around). My passion for photography is matched only by my love for self-deprecating humor and fantasy baseball.
When I’m not in Reno, I am in Half Moon Bay, Calif., soaking up the fog and eating organic tomatoes. I am also learning to throw a knuckleball.
I've been recognized by the Associated Press, Eddie Adams Workshop and Missouri Photo Workshop for excellence in visual storytelling. And by the Gannett Corporation, who awarded me a Pulliam Fellowship at The Arizona Republic.
