Jonathan Morris’s Summary

Illustration and Graphic Design are my primary passions - I've been an illustrator and comic book artist for more than fifteen years - although I am fascinated with assorted web programming languages and technologies (CSS, XHTML, JavaScript, PHP, AJAX, etc).

My tenure as a Software Engineer with America Online's QA/Beta Department gave me the opportunity to play "Jack of All Web Trades." I am self-educated - with seven years' experience - in the fields of User Interface Design, Quality Assurance Testing, Online Community Management, Search Engine Optimization, Graphics Optimization for the Web, the aforementioned coding languages and more.

I also frequently write for cultural review and humor publications, and have a strong background in producing written content on a wide variety of subjects. In addition, I have a great deal of editorial experience, having overseen the publication of several anthology comics and managing any number of continuing comics and writing projects.

In my art, my writing and especially my design, I strive for limpidity - clear, fluid, elegant and striking. In my life and my work, I strive for the opportunity to challenge and better myself.
